A key cel of Akane with long hair, from the beginning of the TV series. Even though her eyes are closed, this is one of my favorite cels. Akane is my favorite Ranma 1/2 character, and here she just looks so happy. Also, I've always liked her better with long hair. I think that this look made it easier for her to be strong, yet cute, whatever Ranma might have claimed to think. I wish Rumiko Takahashi had left her hair this way!
