Mrs. Ichinose, Kentaro, Kyoko, and Akemi at a festival. One of the things I like best about Maison Ikkoku is that it has so much of Japanese culture in it. Kyoko certainly looks cute in a kimono.... Finding a volume of the translated Maison Ikkoku manga in a bookstore is one of the things that first got me into anime and manga, and this is still one of my favorite series. I am very glad to have a few Maison Ikkoku cels, and I hope that someday the entire series will be released in the U.S. I believe this cel is from episode 71, which I haven't seen yet.
