From episode 23. Grant Oldman shows off his super-human abilities once more. :-) The description below contains SPOILERS. Akari probably thought that after she had reached her goal she'd get some time to rest and relax. Instead, here she's just had an eventful visit to her mother's grave. First she ran into Mr. Miracle (sans mask), then Grant Oldman had to save both of them from being blown up by a mysterious UFO by grabbing them and leaping into a moving helicopter. Akari wonders what Mr. Miracle was doing there.... In the course of doing my screencaps for Battle Athletes I was disturbed that there were several cels that I couldn't exactly find. Not only does almost every multi-layered non-backgrounded cel I have from the show have mis-matched layers, there were a couple I just didn't think quite matched any frame of the anime. This is one of them. Since it would be ridiculous from a financial standpoint to forge Battle Athletes cels, and this cel has the AIC stamp, I can only assume this is cut or re-drawn footage. I made a screencap of the frame that looked most like it.
