This is one of those key cels with a triangle drawn around the number, and is beautifully detailed for its size. Because the scene is so dark, I couldn't get either the scan or the screencap to really come out properly.

Kaoru from the "firefly scene" in episode 31. She
is waiting for Kenshin to come back from his meeting with Okubo,
afraid of the decision he may have made. This is one of my favorite scenes
in all of anime. The music and artwork combine perfectly to create
a sweet, sad mood of farewell. I'm so happy to have a cel from this
